Crankshaft Position Sensor Replacement
The crankshaft sensor synchronizes the ignition system and fuel injectors. It is the only sensor that, if faulty, will cause the engine to stall instantly or prevent it from starting altogether.
Signs of failure:
-
Engine stalls suddenly while driving (especially when hot).
-
Difficulty starting or total engine no-start condition.
-
"Check Engine" light on and engine misfiring.
-
Sudden drops in RPM and vehicle jerking under load.
What is included in the service:
-
Computer Diagnostics: Reading fault codes (typically P0335, P0336).
-
Wiring Inspection: Checking connectors for damage or corrosion.
-
Removal & Installation: Extracting the old sensor and installing a new one with the correct torque.
-
Adaptation: Clearing fault codes and (if required) performing a sensor relearn procedure via scanner.
